There are people who understand me almost as easily as if I were a song being broadcast over FM to their ears. To others, it's as if they're listening to a different frequency altogether. I can't expect the whole world to be tuned to my station, but it bothers me when the people who can't even begin to understand me start to criticise. Do these people deserve my harsh opprobrium or merely my brutal, callous silence?
