“It hurts me to my soul…”

I'm going through a revival of sorts.
It used to be that I'd come home, sit in my chair and do… nothing productive. I was the epitome of laziness. My diet consisted of frozen pizza, canned ravioli and lots of ramen noodles. I would be embarrassed to let people into my apartment because of the state that it would be in.
Something's come over me, and I like it. I can't tell you the last time that I had ramen for dinner. I don't mind spending an hour and a half to make a magnificent meal and clean up later. It's completely worth it. It might seem like a small thing, but I feel way better being active. I'll have plenty of time to sit and do nothing when I'm eighty.
