Random observations:

• Today just had an awful aura. If seems that whatever I spent time doing, I felt really bored in doing it. On a day like today, what can you do?
• When you walk into a Goodwill, it's like you're walking back in time to some period where the technology spans from phonographs to videodiscs. Despite the large collection of music, the only good music is on eight-track tapes: Beatles, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot (you haven't heard of him, have you?)
• Coca-Cola is an addictive substance, and I'm addicted.
• BBC is a wonderful news service. I wish that I could get a channel of nothing but BBC news. Instead, I have to be satisfied with a half-hour of news broadcasted before The Tonight Show on PBS.
• There are too many spiders in my basement.
• A terrorist attack in India bothers me just as much as a terrorist attack in the U. S., but others seem to not feel that way.
