They say that if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
They say that if first you don't succeed, try again.
They say that the third time's a charm.
What comes after that? Is there a reason that there's no encouraging phrase that comes after four times? Why is it that I could bore someone to death with details about how debt creates more money in the œconomy, the distillation process for making whisky or the reasons why Henry VIII created the Church of England, but I can't find an encouraging maxim for why we should press on after three failed attempts. Do you know of one?
