Okay, there is something that has bothered me for quite some time. Every time that I watch Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, there is a scene where Indiana's father tells Indy that Elsa is a Nazi. When it's shown that Elsa is indeed a Nazi, Indy asks his father how he knew that. His response is simply: “She talks in her sleep.” What did he mean by that?

1. She talks in her sleep, and, while she was talking in her sleep, she uttered something along the lines of “I'm a Nazi.”
2. Supposedly, Hitler constantly screamed in his sleep. In this way, he might have been using a broken syllogism: “Elsa talks in her sleep. Hitler talks in his sleep. Hiter is a Nazi. Therefore, Elsa is a Nazi.”
3. Indiana's father had no idea that she was a Nazi. He just guessed correctly. The thing about talking in her sleep was a joke.
