People say that they're fed up with the way that Christmas has been commercialised instead of being true to its roots. Let me explain why that's dumb. The root of Christmas (at least the primary root) is based in the Bible. In the Bible, some magi (traditionally three) brought Jesus gifts. It is from this that we get the tradition of giving gifts at Christmas. Usually, in order to give a gift, you must purchase it. Sure, there are some times when people choose to make presents rather than buy them, but I even doubt that the magi themselves made the gold, incense and myrrh that they presented to Christ. However, reflecting on modern society, people must buy presents to give to other people at Christmastime. That would lead to commercialism. So, this commercialism is central to Christmas.

My name is Daniel. I do what any pissy, twenty-five-year-old child of the millennium does: I blog. I just kept doing out when it went out of style.
Also, I'm very vague.
